If / Else block (deprecated)

Deprecated — removed from the catalog. The canvas If / Else card is no longer insertable. Existing forms still load; Studio migrates those rules into Rules (schema.logic, no field anchor) automatically. Prefer Branch & field conditions and the Workflow → Rules for all new work.

What it was

If / Else in the left catalog was not a question. Respondents never typed into it. It was a visible canvas card that hosted the same When → Then editor as Rules.

That third entry point is gone. Authoring is now:

Branch on choice answers (+ Otherwise)

Workflow → Rules (plus Flow map + Simulator) for full When → Then

Calculated for live formulas

Migration

Old habit	Do this instead
Drop If / Else for “Other → specify”	Branch on the choice field
Drop If / Else for page routing	Branch Go to page, or Rules → Jump to page
Drop If / Else for hide Submit / complex When	Workflow → Rules
Live scoreboard	Calculated

You do not need to rebuild old forms by hand — open Studio once and save; migrated rules appear under Workflow → Rules.
