# Public Share Links

> Generate secure, read-only dashboard links to present form performance to external stakeholders and clients.

Form performance shouldn't be locked inside your admin panel. **Public Share Links** allow you to generate a secure, read-only version of the Insights Dashboard that can be distributed to marketing teams, executives, or external clients—without requiring them to have a Filament login.

## Generating a Share Link

<Steps>
  <Step title="Access the Share Hub">
    Click the **Share Insights** button located in the top toolbar of the dashboard.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select Data Scopes">
    You have granular control over what the stakeholder can see. Check or uncheck the **Answers**, **Visits**, and **Drop-offs** tabs.
    *(Example: You might want a client to see traffic Visits, but hide the raw Answers to protect respondent privacy).*
  </Step>

  <Step title="Apply Security (Optional)">
    Enter a password in the security field to lock the dashboard. The client will be prompted to enter this password before the data loads.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Generate the URL">
    Click **Create Share**. The system generates a unique, cryptographic URL and copies it to your clipboard.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## The Stakeholder Experience

When a stakeholder opens the link, they are presented with a beautiful, branded, read-only environment.

While they **cannot** edit the form or view raw PII in the Submissions Inbox, they **can** manipulate the Date Ranges and Filters within the shared dashboard, allowing them to interactively explore the data you permitted them to see.

## Managing Active Links

You retain complete control over all distributed links. Below the creation panel, you will see a list of every active share link currently in circulation.

<CardGroup cols={2}>
  <Card title="Audit Active Links" icon="list-check">
    See exactly which links are active, whether they are password protected, and which tabs they expose.
  </Card>

  <Card title="Instant Revocation" icon="ban">
    Click **Revoke** to immediately destroy the link. Anyone attempting to visit the URL will instantly receive an "Expired" message.
  </Card>
</CardGroup>

<Callout type="warning">
  **Automatic Expiration:** For security, all public share links automatically expire 30 days after creation. If a client needs permanent access, you must generate a new link for them.
</Callout>
